Monday Thoughts.
Happy Monday sweet Friends!
I’m so thankful we had weekend away to Amelia/Fernandina this past weekend with my family!! My parents, my brother and his crew and we were all down for a very short vacation, but it was completely wonderful!
I wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments, both private, on Instagram, and FaceBook about our announcement last week about a baby BOY coming in November. We are terribly excited, and so is Reynolds. Eliza Jane really doesn’t have a clue, and she HATED the silly string we sprayed all over her. In my mind, that whole thing was going to go down so much more fun and silly than it did in reality…so yay for being mom of the year once again! ha! {If you didn’t see it, click here to view the post with the entire gender reveal video!}
I am excited about Reynolds having a little brother, and all the dreams I have of nautical-themed bunk beds; soccer and t-ball games will be so fun, with just one little princess running around in her tutu!
We are thankful.
On a slightly different note, I didn’t post about this or share it last week only because it coincided with the fun news we had going on. And don’t worry, this isn’t a “Debbie-downer” by any means.
I wrote this post for the Columbia SC Moms Blog five weeks ago and it just went live last week, on the day we found out Almond’s gender and so I wanted to wait.
I would love for you, if you have three minutes, to click this link and read the post I wrote, entitled “Pregnancy After Loss :: Dealing With Anxiety”. And please keep in mind that it was over a month ago that I wrote this. And yes, I am still dealing with the anxiety at times, but when he kicks and punches me as hard as he can in his tiny state, it is an INCREDIBLE blessing and I am overcome with joy.
As always, I am thankful for your love, your encouragement and mostly your prayers for this little guy and my pregnancy!
Praying you all have a fantastic week!
Christine, thank you so much! We love Fernandina also (just wish it was a weeee bit closer to us! 🙂
Gorgeous picture! I love Fernandina. Going to read the post now!
