    Back To School

With all the hustle and bustle of back to school, I thought it would be fun to share some back to school quotes – found from the world wide web.  Enjoy. If there were no schools to take the children away from home part of the time, the insane asylums would be filled with mothers….

    Shamrocks And Leprechauns

I meant to post this last night, when it was actually St. Patrick’s day, but alas, my child(ren) had other plans for me 🙂 Like many places, Saturday was our St. Patrick’s {St. Pat’s} festival in downtown Columbia.  Well, the 5 Points area.  Andrew and I closely watched the weather Thursday and Friday, and had…

One evening this Summer I went out to check the mail and found a lovely little packaged envelope, from LifeWay, amidst all the credit card offers and fake keys that might just be the winner! of a new car! 1. Girl thank you!!! I shop at Publix (daily basically) and I never knew all this great savings info. You are awesome!! Thank you 🙂

  2. Public was my store when we lived in Birmingham and Atlanta. Now that we are in Houston I go to HEB. But I still miss Publix! I looked forward to their weekly add as well. Always found good deals on stuff we used everyday!

  3. I love Southernsavers.com bc it has a checklist with the publix ad that lists coupons underneath. Do you use it? What I reaaaallly want to know is how you meal plan and coupon? I have come to the place where I can get great deals all day long but I still don’t have the bulk of what I need for an actual meal. Oh, and for diaper needs, I’d recommending picking a drugstore. I do CVS and usually pay $3-4.50 a pack for huggies or pampers. Awesome!

    1. Hey Alana! Thank you for your comments! I have looked at southernsavers.com before…but tend to get a little overwhelmed. I think I need a course on their lingo and abbreviations?! 🙂
For the most part, my meal planning comes with determining the best deals. I only buy what is either on sale, is a BOGO or I have a coupon for…
I guess I kind of make up the meal planning as I go?
I’m looking into this who CVSing thing and the diapers – are you a CVS-er?
