  • My Day Has Been Hijacked

I looked up “hijacked” in the dictionary and feel that my chosen verb has been used appropriately. Hijacked: to engage in such stealing or seizing. {emphasis ->MINE} Today was my day off.  I’ve only taken 6 days off this year as personal (mental…) days.  And somehow, everyone of those but ONE has been hijacked by this cutie: It’s like he has ESP or…

    Laundry Lessons

Don’t think that I’m about to teach you about how to do your laundry.  I am not an expert laundress….but these ladies are!   No, I’m just here reminding you to find joy in the laundry…again… I had yet another lesson in my laundry last week.  And while I started to just shoot off a little…

  • Another Day, Another Tale

I enjoy sharing with you about the mishaps and insanity that happens among my husband and children {mainly}. Hopefully the narrations I provide here allow you to say on occasion, “THANK GOD I’m not the only one with…” or “…praise the Lord my kids aren’t the only maniacs around…” Nah…we’re all in this big happy…

    The Next Step

With baby #2 on the way (right at 5 weeks to go…) we’ve been talking about stroller #2.  Will it be a side by side? A Tandem? A sit and stand?  Same brand as the first (BabyTrend) or something else…in which case I’d probably have to get a different car seat… x-( So.MANY.options!  I am…

  1. Girl thank you!!! I shop at Publix (daily basically) and I never knew all this great savings info. You are awesome!! Thank you 🙂

  2. Public was my store when we lived in Birmingham and Atlanta. Now that we are in Houston I go to HEB. But I still miss Publix! I looked forward to their weekly add as well. Always found good deals on stuff we used everyday!

  3. I love Southernsavers.com bc it has a checklist with the publix ad that lists coupons underneath. Do you use it? What I reaaaallly want to know is how you meal plan and coupon? I have come to the place where I can get great deals all day long but I still don’t have the bulk of what I need for an actual meal. Oh, and for diaper needs, I’d recommending picking a drugstore. I do CVS and usually pay $3-4.50 a pack for huggies or pampers. Awesome!

    1. Hey Alana! Thank you for your comments! I have looked at southernsavers.com before…but tend to get a little overwhelmed. I think I need a course on their lingo and abbreviations?! 🙂
For the most part, my meal planning comes with determining the best deals. I only buy what is either on sale, is a BOGO or I have a coupon for…
I guess I kind of make up the meal planning as I go?
I’m looking into this who CVSing thing and the diapers – are you a CVS-er?
