In My Weakness…
I continue to be emotionally and spiritually overwhelmed. I found myself in tears Friday night over a post on Facebook where someone was asking for more feminine products to be donated to a shelter.
I am normally not so emotional.
Seeing our city, the normal places that have been either completely destroyed or mostly so…has been so incredibly hard.
In the midst of everything last week I totally forgot that I’d written a guest blog post for a sweet friend, Tayrina over at His Purpose In Me.
This morning as I sat in church and was once again overcome by the immense love He has for us… He is the Provider. He is everything…I remembered the post.
The post is called In My Weakness, He Is Strong {the link is right there!}…I do hope you’ll read it and find some encouragement from His word. Over the last week I know so many of us have felt our own weaknesses…but also His incredible strength!!
The pictures are haunting and the other day it hit me how easily it could’ve been us. We live in “lake country” as you know and a floor could easily happen here. It’s great to be prepared, but helping others in need… all of it is the Lord’s work. Still praying for y’all!
