    Sending Thank Yous

Since I was a little girl, my mom has always made comments about sending notes.  Especially “thank you” notes.  A few months ago I’d posted about being terrible about sending notes of any kind out…birthday, thank yous, thinking of yous, etc.  This was also the post where I’d said I was ordering stationery from Tiny…

  • The View From Where I Sit

My office is where I spend the majority of my day – answering phone calls and emails, yelling at my employees {well, yelling TO them, not really AT them…} and just doing the daily grind.  When someone called me this afternoon at 5pm (oh, how I wanted to just leave!!), I put on my smile,…

  1. I’m still up working because I was out of school for two days with an Upper Respiratory Infection. Pierce had a committee dinner, so I left school at 4:45, picked up Evans, ran home so he could change, and took him to baseball practice. I had a babysitter pick up MC from school and take her to gymnastics. Evans and I left baseball at 6:45, picked up MC, went to Chick-Fil-A, Rite-Aid (more sinus meds), the ATM machine (I owe babysitting and dog sitting money to people), and finally home. MC studied, they took baths, we said prayers, and I finally put them to bed at 9 – an hour and a half past their bedtimes. We made it, though, and I’m thankful for the strength God gave me to help me through the day!

  2. well… Conference calls, dropped off goodies for a client, made it to choir practice, got home, put baby girl down, and now reading my sweet friends blog about nothing and smiling because everything you write about is SOMETHING that everyone relates too in our real life and that we all love taking the time from our crazy day to sit and read because it welcomes us into your home and that perspective brings joy ❤️
