    Back To The Country: Part 2

    Saturday I posted about our little trip out to Gilbert, SC to the Peach Festival Gardens.  At the end of our visit to this fun vintage and antiques-with-gardens locale, the owner told us about the Antique Tractor Show that was going on…just on up the road {don’t I sound so southern!}. Harmon’s Tree Farm was our destination….complete…

  • Georgia On My Mind

    I am Georgia born and raised so I speak this “language”…I have no idea where this originated, but I found it on my Facebook wall this afternoon {from 2009} and since it gave me a few chuckles, I thought I would share it with you! 1. A possum is a flat animal that sleeps in…

  • World Cup {Soccer Confession}

    Soccer has always been the one sport that I didn’t really care to watch…mainly because it’s the one sport I never understood. I didn’t understand, or rather, was confused for a few reasons.  For example, the clock ticks up instead of down…unlike my favorite, football (the American version!).  And then the Ref somehow adds on…

    She Hijacked Herself

    Oh…Eliza Jane. Twice this year she’s hijacked us. And this time, she hijacked herself. It was a lovely Monday afternoon. Just the yesterday in fact. We were looking at a house for sale and first Emory had a dirty diaper…and as fate would have it I had ONE wipe in his bag. ONE. Andrew and…

  1. Yep, me too! The endodontist said I had great teeth and I am thinking, “then why the back do I need 2 root canals!?” Apparently it is really common after giving birth to multiple children. Our bodies become depleted of the calcium in our teeth which is sent to the baby; making our teeth weaker. I go for my second one soon. Which will take two different sittings like yours. ?

  2. Afraid I’ve had several root canals, and, like you, I feel like I take good care of my teeth. At this point, the cost is the worst of it! You’re definitely over the pain part. The rest, as Mama would say, is a “piece of cake.”

  3. Girl, I can write a book. I have had five!!! Yep and they were a result of
    Old repairs and needing a root canal when they have to do crown or replace one. I am the worst patient ever! But I had an excellent endo doctor .most dentist don’t do them. I have to say, I have never heard of one being diagnosed over the phone. Also never heard of it taking so long to do? Usually it’s all done in one trip except for the crown.they usually put a temp on until the crown is made.
    Oh well, glad you have no pain.
    I know how you feel. I have to admit , I like my endo doctor . He never once hurt me. I never felt anything.
    Just seems extreme that you needed a root canal and didn’t have a filling or cavity. Never heard of this. My Mom worked for dentist so I know a thing or two about it.
    I am glad you didn’t have an abcess
    You still have a beautiful smile to go with that beautiful heart .❤️
