The Next Step

With baby #2 on the way (right at 5 weeks to go…) we’ve been talking about stroller #2.  Will it be a side by side? A Tandem? A sit and stand?  Same brand as the first (BabyTrend) or something else…in which case I’d probably have to get a different car seat… x-(

So.MANY.options!  I am completely overwhelmed.

Last weekend we went by our local Market on Main Saturday morning and there I saw two ladies pushing the BOB stroller, similar to this one:

And while I really like the colors and the overall look, my concern is the width of a side by side.  Who has one?  What are the pros/cons of one so broad?

Then there’s the cost (holy mackerel!) these bad boys are expensive!  eeeek.  Is it worth the pain, er, price?

Same idea, but the tandem jogging stroller seems to make more sense when it comes to the size of the whole thing:

But then I’m sure there would be the inevitable kicking in the head of the kid who’s sitting up higher to the one down below…and nobody needs that kind of drama when out on a walk/run.  Seriously.

Then there’s that whole sit and stand version that I hear people talking about, saying how wonderful they are.  But you can’t take this thing out on a 3+ mile walk (or can you?):

 

But the kid standing (R of course) would start whining at some point about wanting to sit down, right? Then what?

So do you see the conundrum (I really wanted to use that word!) we’re in at this point??  I have no idea….and the calendar page just flipped…the next time it flips it’s gonna be like “OMGeeeeeee!”.

I need help from you out there that have one or the other…what do you like/not like?  What’s the best of the best?  Share your wisdom (pretty please!!)!
