Father’s Day Gifts
I found myself wondering this morning, what am I getting Andrew for Father’s Day?
Maybe you’re asking yourself the same question…what are you getting for:
Your husband, who is the father of your children
Or even, Your own father
My Dad is easy…Lowe’s gift card. It’s so not a surprise that I can put it on here, 6 days before the actual event. Now, if I can just remember to go purchase it and a card and get it in the mail!
Andrew, on the other hand is not as easy…well, maybe he is, but I’m not getting him a Lowe’s gift card. Even though that might be what he really wants. It’s not a proper way to show him how much he’s loved and appreciated as “Daddy”. {Now I feel bad about the gift card for my own dad…may need to rethink this}
I was watching the news this morning and there was a snippet on what dads DO NOT want and what they do.
On the DO NOT Get Dad list:
- Tie
- Random cologne
- Books
Instead, GET Dad:
- Steak or nice dinner
- Spoiled for the day (sounds like mother’s day…)
- Tech
Maybe I’ll go with one of the items on the Get Dad list, but it will not be a mani/pedi! ha! Andrew would not appreciate that.at.all.
I just purchased one thing online that I think he will really enjoy…you’ll have to wait til Sunday to find out what it is.
And then I’m debating another item on the Get Dad list…wonder what it will be 🙂
