A Reflection – 2014 In Review
The older I get, the faster time flies. How in the world are we already at the end of 2014?!
It seems like yesterday we were celebrating the new year of 2014!
Events that happened this year, to name just a few…but big ones!
We had a major snow storm…on my birthday no doubt!
We announced that Reynolds was going to be a big brother!
Then we found out Reynolds was going to have a baby SISTER!
And then R turned the big ONE!!! (sad face….)
On May 10th I wrote my first blog post – a BIG “Thank you so very much for reading my blog!!!” to you out there!!!
Then Reynolds tried to crack his head open…
The end of May showed Reynolds how much he was going to love Aunt Dana and Uncle DJ’s pool.
Then came Eliza Jane…the big DUE day.
And in a matter of hours we were a family of FOUR.
This picture is my favorite because both kids are looking at me almost as if they’re both saying, “are you sure?”
And then we had more blog posts about hijackings (by Reynolds…and my mom?), updating old furniture (and a bathroom and a wood paneled wonderland) push presents, the dishwasher that just wouldn’t stop, family photo shoots, EJ’s first day at daycare and Halloween to name a few others.
And Eliza Jane’s first Christmas!
Who knows what adventures may hold in 2015 but I have no doubt that there will be adventures! I pray that you and your family have an amazing year to come!
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” Isaiah 43:18-19a
Aw…laughed so hard at R with his first haircut. So cute. Kids will always surprise us. Happy New Year to y’all!! Looking forward to many more great reads!
