Blog-tember Challenge: Day 5
For the LOVE of MUSIC!!!!
I love music. Of every tune, beat, rhythm, melody….except that hard angry sounding stuff… I have been known to bust-a-move with a good song, turn it up really loud and belt it out. And if you were truthful with yourself and the world, you would probably confess the same!!! HA!
Yesterday at work I played a list from Anthropologie that was so fantastic, a co-worker even took a little video of me “dancing” at my desk!
Music makes the world go ’round for sure, especially in my world!
I chose Spotify for this exercise…I don’t have iTunes {I know…} and I listen to just about everything.
“I wonder what songs will play when I click shuffle…” I wondered to myself.
Here are my 10 songs, in order of how they came up on my player. And I was able to do this while the kids were napping and I was getting ready for a wedding! {Andrew went to Macy’s to buy a new pair of dancing shoes. True story!}. Warning: it’s a very eclectic sort of mix…
- It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (shrift remix) ♥ Andy Williams
- Girls Chase Boys ♥ Ingrid Michaelson
- Waiting Here for You ♥ Christy Nockels
- Shut Up and Dance ♥ Walk the Moon
- Silent Night ♥ David Crowder Band
- Invisible ♥ Plumb
- Suburban Space Invader ♥ The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
- Celebrate ♥ Pitbull
- Sugar ♥ Maroon 5
- Wanna Be a Baller ♥ Lil’ Troy
I warned you that it was eclectic! I feel like the songs that played were definitely a good representation of who I am in my music, but to be honest the last song surprised me a little!! Surely it’s in there for good measure…
If you put your music on shuffle, what would be your first 10 songs to play?
Happy Saturday friends – turn on some music and dance!
I love songs that can make you dance! The more upbeat the better 🙂
I have an eclectic mix too, and was very surprised that none of the many Christmas songs I have showed up in the first 10. You have a fun list. I’ve been stuck on Sugar by Maroon 5 for a while. It’s fun to dance to!
