Christmas Manicure :: Favorite Colors and Looks
Well we are just eleven days away from Christmas Eve, can you believe it?! Over the next several nights I’m sure there will be greetings and gatherings galore. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve already planned your outfits, down to the accessories! {Anyone else attach their earrings to their outfit?} But what about your manicure? Have you been scouring the images on Pinterest for the perfect Christmas nail polish color? Better yet, did you find some of those artsy looks to take to your nail technician to replicate? It’s really impressive what can be done with a tiny little brush and nail polish!
Favorite Christmas Manicure Looks:
I prefer a more simple manicure, but sometimes I really love adding in some of the new designs that have come out, and these are two of my current favorites:
To see more like this {with even more designs}, I’ve gathered some of the prettiest nail looks together on my Pinterest board if you want to check out some fun and festive looks.
Favorite Christmas Nail Colors:
While the festive artwork can be fun and conversation-starters for sure, some of you may just enjoy a solid, classic color. Below are some of my current favorite Christmas nail colors – my all time favorite being OPI’s Big apple Red.
Big Apple Red is so perfect, and being a red girl through and through, it’s hard for me to depart from it. BUT, I do also love a gorgeous evergreen and the gals who can pull off wearing them! Essie’s 2021 Fall colors include this amazing onyx green with gold mixed in, which is so perfect for Christmas!
For a more neutral look the classic option of Movie Buff by OPI is one of my absolute most favorite options and is a go-to for me year-round. Take a look at my pinterest board for a little glitter inspiration on how to dress up this fabulous neutral.
Whether you’re getting snowmen or mistletoe drawn on your nails, or sticking to the basics of Big Apple Red or Movie Buff, having your nails done will make you feel totally pulled together.
No time for the salon?
Clean and shape your nails and apply your own favorite shade. I know for a fact Target carries Big Apple Red {because I just purchased it last week!}, or shop your local drug store for a similar shade. If you do polish your own nails, pay the extra $8-$10 for the instant dry drops. You won’t regret it.
Color Street
For an even FASTER manicure, if you’re a fan of the easy-to-apply Color Street nail polish strips {I am!!}, my favorite colors this season are Wrap it Up and Under the Misletoe.
What will be your choice? There’s still time! Share your favorite Christmas nail colors or looks with me in the comments below.
