Our Ark Encounter :: Part 2
Hello friend! If you haven’t read Part 1 of Our Ark Encounter, you may read it here. That post will give you all the insights to the actual Ark.
This post is to show you the other things available at Ark Encounter. As my friend Ann asked me the other day, “Is there really that much to do there?”
“YES”. A resounding “YES.” was my answer.
First of all, that massive Ark takes 3-4 hours to walk through with all the exhibits, mini movies, shopping, etc.
Then there was the little zoo of animals to look at – like an Ostrich, Cranes, Donkeys, and more!
Then the Camel Rides!
The Rainbow Garden was stunning – I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the Spring!
And the Family Playground was something to behold for kids of all ages and abilities.
I think Dana and I sat for an hour and a half just watching the kids run from one thing to the next at the playground.
We finished our visit by watching a short video on how the Ark Encounter came about. It’s amazing how God gave one man a dream, and then the resources and people to bring it to life.
Whether you’re a believer in the Lord or not, the Ark Encounter is something amazing to experience. For those that are believers, it will remind you that the Bible, the people and the stories within it are indeed, true.
Until next time…
