Pumpkins! Fall Is Upon Us
The first day of AUTUMN is tomorrow!!!!! And it feels like it already here in sunny cloudy Columbia, SC today!
We had a lovely rain/down-pour last night and it cooled us off very nicely…And brought some perkiness to my poor, sad, wilted plants outside!
So since tomorrow is the first day of Autumn, and I’ve been wanting to share with y’all the pictures I took last Saturday at the Farmer’s Market…without further ado…
We stopped by the Market on our way to a friend’s house to watch the USC vs UGA game (WE WON!!) for the plant and flower festival. That, as one friend told me on Friday “is right up your alley!” And it was…sort of. I am MUCH more excited about flowers and plants in the Spring because there is so much more to choose from and get excited about! But I was very happy to go.
Confession: I’m over mums. They hate me and I’m not a fan of them….there, I said it.
Nonetheless, I have a photo of them in all their white, yellow and purple-ish beauty… 😀
Then there were the pumpkins!! Loads and loads of beautiful pumpkins {and gourds!}!
Pumpkins of every shade and size!
And our little pumpkin holding the one that he really wanted {and takes everywhere with him!}…
I wanted one of every color but mostly of these really cool ones…they were my most favorites.
Then I went to Publix on Sunday to get what I needed for our Sunday Supper with our neighbors and saw these little cuties! HA!
Have you gotten pumpkins yet for your home? Do you put them inside and outside or just one or the other?
