  • So Long, Farewell….

A co-worker is leaving.  Tomorrow is his last day.  And while in my 11.58 years of working for the same company, I’ve seen a LOT of people come and go, but this one is especially sad for me.  The person who is leaving was there when I started working at this company.  To give you a…

  • So Long…July

All the things I want to tell y’all about from this past month…it’s all rolled up into this one {potentially long} blog post! Reading: Y’all know I’m not a reader. Well, prepare to be shocked because I currently have THREE books on my night-stand!!!  I know you all just fell on the floor. Pick yourself…

  • God IS….LOVE

My heart has been a little heavy today.  My fuse has been short…and it’s weighing on me. I’ve decided to camp out in 1 Corinthians 13…the “love chapter”. I’ve recently discovered a song on Reynolds’ new “learn about Jesus” cd: Love will never end.  It’s based on 1 Corinthians 13 {from what I can tell…

  1. I just read your blog and it sounds identical to our experience last year. We had about 5 hours of delays both going to the Exumas and leaving the Exumas. We too had to take a tiny “island hopper jet” with no seat belts when our Bahama Air flight never showed up. We absolutely loved the Sandals resort in Exuma and the beaches are breathtaking however, after our traveling experience, we will not be going back anytime soon. Glad you both got there safely and had a good time!

    1. Rachel, your trip sounds like it was a lot more headache than ours for sure {I don’t think we’ll ever fly out of Columbia again…}. Our trip was amazing and for sure, the views from Nassau to Exuma were beyond my imagination so I’m thankful for the route we ended up taking.
Your recent trip looks fantastic as well!!

  2. I really enjoyed reading this. You write very well, Michelle . You sure proved that life is just on big adventure!! So glad you got to go to this beautiful place.

    1. Thanks so much, Aunt Martha! You’re very sweet!
Life is certainly an adventure and we’re making the most of ours! 🙂
