    Happy Birthday Momma

I talked to my best friend, Ann, yesterday…she knew that today is my mom’s birthday. Through our conversation, she asked me which day is harder, the day she passed away or her birthday? The two days are so very different. The day she died is a hard day because it’s re-living those moments, those last…

  • What’s Your Dream?

The Happy Man in Pretty Woman said, “Welcome to Hollywood!  What’s your dream?….Some dreams come true, some don’t; but keep on dreamin’….Always time to dream, so keep on dreamin’.” I had lunch today with a sweet girlfriend and found myself wondering more about my dream in life. What’s my dream? I don’t really feel like I know…not…

  • What’s In A Name?

Juliet asked the question, “What’s in a name….” Well, if you’re my husband, everything. For over four years my name on Facebook read as my maiden name.  Not including my new married last name.  Except where your “other name” is listed. 1. I just read your blog and it sounds identical to our experience last year. We had about 5 hours of delays both going to the Exumas and leaving the Exumas. We too had to take a tiny “island hopper jet” with no seat belts when our Bahama Air flight never showed up. We absolutely loved the Sandals resort in Exuma and the beaches are breathtaking however, after our traveling experience, we will not be going back anytime soon. Glad you both got there safely and had a good time!

    1. Rachel, your trip sounds like it was a lot more headache than ours for sure {I don’t think we’ll ever fly out of Columbia again…}. Our trip was amazing and for sure, the views from Nassau to Exuma were beyond my imagination so I’m thankful for the route we ended up taking.
Your recent trip looks fantastic as well!!

  2. I really enjoyed reading this. You write very well, Michelle . You sure proved that life is just on big adventure!! So glad you got to go to this beautiful place.

    1. Thanks so much, Aunt Martha! You’re very sweet!
Life is certainly an adventure and we’re making the most of ours! 🙂
