    September Rewind

This has always been one of my favorite posts to write because it gives me the opportunity to go back and see all the things we have done in just a month! I often find myself thinking, “WOW! That seems like so long ago, and yet, it was just…two weeks ago.” ha. Okay so here…

    Needing Jesus

(Reader’s note: this was written originally last Monday, 6/26…but this is how long it takes me to finish things these days… ☹) I always think it’s funny when something happens by “coincidence”. I just happened to forget I wasn’t supposed to take a lunch today, and ran an errand to Trader Joe’s. Then I happened…

    Guest Prep

With the exciting arrival of Eliza Jane just around the corner (3+ weeks!), this past weekend I really wanted to get the guest bedroom ready for my parents.  I legitimately have had this fear of going into labor and that room looking like a tornado had come thru. There wasn’t a ton to do, just get…

  • A Letter to My Momma

Hey Momma, Today we celebrate your one year anniversary in Heaven. And for what kind of stinks for us here, I don’t get to see you and hear your voice anymore, I continue to rejoice that you’re with Jesus. Sometimes I feel guilty about not being as sad as maybe I should be because I…

  1. I make a book each year for my grandchildren and give it to them on their birthday. Jack turned four in November and I gave him a photo book (I use Snapfish) that was all about the year he was three – his started with his third birthday in 2014 and ran thru to Halloween 2015. The kids (and their Moms) love it. My sister does a yearly calendar of her grandchildren that she gives to her sons and my parents

    1. I think this is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful gifts!! You are wonderful to take the time to upload, sort, organize, etc. to be able to do this for each grandchild! Andrew and I talked about doing a 2015 year-wrap-up. But you know that will take me all day long!
