    The Kindness of Friends

    It is an absolute blessing not to have to prepare dinner.  There, I said it. I’m not a cook.  It’s not that I don’t enjoy cooking, because I do…sort of.  If I know what to prepare.  I’m more of a figure-it-out-the-day-of kind of girl because I’m terrible at meal-planning.  My problem is I don’t plan…

Yesterday morning as I prepared for my day, I pressed my black lace dress that I’d recently purchased from Ann Taylor.  A dress that I’d purchased specifically for an event we were to attend that…

  1. Where do you find is the best place to shop for coats? I love feminine coats too and often find the coats available to buy in store are so plain.

    1. Hey Rhonda! I found a really cute camel-colored one last year from Victoria’s Secret! It kind of has a skirt to the bottom. I ended up loving it a lot more than anticipated.
      Also, Karen Millen has great feminine-looking coats that you could start with {they are a little more costly} and then google the “look”!

    1. Hi Sharon! Do you wear the classics too? I don’t wear a ton of pastels myself, I’m more of a jewel-tone kind of girl! But I love the looks of these pieces!

  2. Oh, this is just darling!! I love all of it! I admire the grace and beauty of Audrey Hepburn, Katherine Hepburn, and Grace Kelley. They are the epitome of style for me! I wear a lot of dresses as well, so comfy but also classic and feminine!

    1. Hi Elena! Thanks for your comments! I find that the classics are so easy {and less costly} than the trendy pieces! Where do you find your dresses? My go-tos are Loft, Banana Republic, The Limited and J.Crew.

    1. Hi Leah! I checked out your post and you’re not so far off from my look {a little more casual perhaps?!} – but I LOVE your wardrobe Pinterest board! {now following!!}
