I’m a card person.  A paper person maybe.  I love stationery and pretty things on which to write notes, messages and anything else.  I’m not entirely sure where this love comes from, but as a child my grandparents sent me cards for special occasions and when I was in college I would receive sweet notes…

    NO Sugar: Update

This is a confession. I am a big, fat failure. I can’t do it.  CANNOT say “no” to sugar.  I mean, I can do it for a day or two.  But, my friends, I cannot go long without it. I won’t rehash the last month and all of my indulgences, but I will tell you…

  1. Aw, it looked like you had a fantastic time. I loved all of your pictures. I haven’t been to NYC around Christmas time since I was young, so I would love to experience it now when I can really appreciate everything. The Rockefeller Center was gorgeous and the proposal – too cute! So glad you got to go to Tavern on the Green. The last time I visited it was closed for renovations as well.

  2. It looks like you had so much fun!! I too just spent the weekend in New York City. My dad and his fiancee planned a family trip for us all so we drove down on Thursday and stayed until Sunday. We had a blast! I love visiting this time of year. It’s so magical.

  3. I love these pictures! Ahhh it makes me want to go back to NYC for an Instagram-vacation. I haven’t been there in so long but I’d love to go back. I’m glad you had a great trip.

  4. I love NYC, especially during Christmas time. I will be visiting there next week and am really excited! It looks like you and your husband had a great time. I really want to see snow while I am there but I heard it’s not been as cold.
