EEK!!! Our NEW Powder Room : Reveal!
OMG!!!! I can’t even begin to tell y’all how incredibly excited I am that 1. this bathroom is FINALLY done! Oct. 4th was the flood and 5 days later this bathroom got torn apart! And 2….that it is just as pretty as it can be and is the ONLY room in our home that is modern, bright and finished!
To keep you in a little suspense for just a minute…You absolutely MUST remember what it looked like..
First when we moved in, back in July 2013…
Please just stare at this for a moment and take ALL of it in…
THEN, we we did some minor updates, just to freshen it up until we could bust out all of that tile….
I can’t even….It is SO much better than this!!!
And now…the moment you’ve all been waiting for…
Keep scrolling…
First, the sexy black pocket door that I painted and my amazing husband installed. {More details on the blog tomorrow – like how we did all of this – Andrew did most of the work himself!}
Drum roll please….
TADAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
Y’all. It’s bright. It’s fun. I LOVE this wallpaper. We kept the light fixture, mirror, vanity and toilet since all that was new from our 2013 install.
For all the details on every step of this remodel, check out the post tomorrow night!
I hope you love it because I sure do!
**There is one fun, colorful piece of artwork going just above the toilet but sadly it’s not made it to our home yet. I’ll be sure to post about it once it arrives. It’s “cheeky”, but no actual cheeks are involved… :-/
So cute! And such an improvement! I especially love the floor. Congrats on your new room!
Hey Charlene! It really is an improvement – the floor is amazing – I’m so grateful for the hubs and my amazing dad!
whaaaaat i LOVE this bathroom. FAB wallpaper, great mirror, lovely little white shelf display. So impressed with the major transformation!! Great work, you two!

Found you at the Peony Project! Happy New Year!
Hi Lucy! Thanks for stopping by the other day! And for your sweet comments about our bathroom – we love it! I would stay in there all the time (well, maybe not really), it’s so pretty!
This is SO incredible. I was in Charleston for the first time over the weekend and I was shocked to hear that people are still struggling from the floods. But this is amazing! Where did you find that amazing wallpaper?
Hi Annie! Yes…in Columbia there is still a lot of rebuilding going on. We hope to have our road/bridge repaired by late March…
The wallpaper came from a local store here in Columbia called WallPaper Additions. I did provide a link in the blog post about the wallpaper so it’s possible you could find it near you!
Oh My Gosh!!! I LOVE it!! That wallpaper is perfect for a small room like that!!
Thanks Brittany! We love it too! You can’t look at the walls for too long or you might get dizzy ;), but it is so lovely!!
Fun wallpaper! I love bold prints in a small space. That tile is lovely, too — looks really similar to what we have put in both our bathrooms.
Hi Lora! The tile was a total pick-out by the hubs. It’s not quite my style (I’m more traditional and he’s more modern/contemporary) but it totally works! We love it!
