  • A New Start

It’s been a year since I last wrote a post on this sweet blog of mine. I never dreamed, when I started Camellias & Copper, that I would go a year without putting thoughts down and sharing them with you all. I actually had a number of drafts saved from last Spring that never were…

  • Drip, Drip, Drip

What’s more annoying than a dripping faucet?  All day long…drip. drip. drip…. Our kitchen faucet recently started dripping (from all the bottle washing, I wonder?!) and since it was pretty basic and blah… ..we decided to replace/update it. So Eliza Jane and I went to Lowe’s one day last week and picked one out…then Andrew…

  • Color My Metal

This afternoon a co-worker friend of mine walked into my office and said, “Whatcha doin’ this weekend?”  Trying not to sound completely exhausted, I said “I have no idea, I haven’t gotten to the point of thinking about the weekend.”   When, really, I had….I had already planned out the projects I wanted to attack…

    White Elephants

I think I’ve mentioned before that I work with a pretty fantastic group of people. Well a week or so ago, Breanna came to me and asked if we could do a white elephant party….BYOL {bring your own lunch}…and of course I said yes.  I mean, how could I say no to something so fun,…

    Sending Valentines

Does anyone else send out Valentines? I’m not talking about kids to kids, but from you to your friends and families? Well, I haven’t done it either…at least not for a long time.  I used to send them to the kids of good friends and then fell off the wagon. So this year I thought…

    1. Hey Charlene! It really is an improvement – the floor is amazing – I’m so grateful for the hubs and my amazing dad!

    1. Hi Lucy! Thanks for stopping by the other day! And for your sweet comments about our bathroom – we love it! I would stay in there all the time (well, maybe not really), it’s so pretty!

  1. This is SO incredible. I was in Charleston for the first time over the weekend and I was shocked to hear that people are still struggling from the floods. But this is amazing! Where did you find that amazing wallpaper?

    1. Hi Annie! Yes…in Columbia there is still a lot of rebuilding going on. We hope to have our road/bridge repaired by late March…
The wallpaper came from a local store here in Columbia called WallPaper Additions. I did provide a link in the blog post about the wallpaper so it’s possible you could find it near you!

    1. Thanks Brittany! We love it too! You can’t look at the walls for too long or you might get dizzy ;), but it is so lovely!!

  2. Fun wallpaper! I love bold prints in a small space. That tile is lovely, too — looks really similar to what we have put in both our bathrooms.

    1. Hi Lora! The tile was a total pick-out by the hubs. It’s not quite my style (I’m more traditional and he’s more modern/contemporary) but it totally works! We love it!
