    All Those Christmas Photos!

Do y’all remember those commercials from several years ago {I’m dating myself}, when digital cameras first became really popular – the commercial where you saw all the people from images in your camera and :poof!: someone would disappear in order to take that picture of Aunt Janice blowing out her 60th birthday cake?  Does anyone else remember…

    Swingin’

I was in my happy place yesterday afternoon. We were outside. And I was swinging. About 2 {or more…} months ago I got a wild hair and asked Andrew to put a swing in our back yard.  One of those rope and wood, basic as basic can be, sorts of swings that hangs from a…

  • Three Books!

So Monday’s post-prompt from the Blogtember Challenge was: Three books! One you just read, one you’re currently reading, and one you want to read. Honestly, this one just makes me feel so bad!  I.am.not.a.reader! I don’t have time to sit and read. I don’t want to sit still enough to read. I want to do…

  • So Long, Farewell….

A co-worker is leaving.  Tomorrow is his last day.  And while in my 11.58 years of working for the same company, I’ve seen a LOT of people come and go, but this one is especially sad for me.  The person who is leaving was there when I started working at this company.  To give you a…

    1. Hey Charlene! It really is an improvement – the floor is amazing – I’m so grateful for the hubs and my amazing dad!

    1. Hi Lucy! Thanks for stopping by the other day! And for your sweet comments about our bathroom – we love it! I would stay in there all the time (well, maybe not really), it’s so pretty!

  1. This is SO incredible. I was in Charleston for the first time over the weekend and I was shocked to hear that people are still struggling from the floods. But this is amazing! Where did you find that amazing wallpaper?

    1. Hi Annie! Yes…in Columbia there is still a lot of rebuilding going on. We hope to have our road/bridge repaired by late March…
The wallpaper came from a local store here in Columbia called WallPaper Additions. I did provide a link in the blog post about the wallpaper so it’s possible you could find it near you!

    1. Thanks Brittany! We love it too! You can’t look at the walls for too long or you might get dizzy ;), but it is so lovely!!

  2. Fun wallpaper! I love bold prints in a small space. That tile is lovely, too — looks really similar to what we have put in both our bathrooms.

    1. Hi Lora! The tile was a total pick-out by the hubs. It’s not quite my style (I’m more traditional and he’s more modern/contemporary) but it totally works! We love it!
