Holiday Breakfast At The Doughnut Factory

Last night before I went to bed I thought about today.  It being a holiday and all, I didn’t want to do the same old things that we might do on a Saturday.  You know, sleep in {ha!}, either cook breakfast or go to Chick-Fil-A….not that there’s anything wrong with any of those!  But today, I wanted to do something different.

Insert the Doughnut Factory!!!

I texted Andrew from our bedroom {hey, I can’t yell when the kids are asleep!!} “Tomorrow morning we should get up and go to KK.”

You don’t have to tell my husband twice.

He dreams about the “Hot NOW” sign…

HAHA.

But seriously, when Eliza Jane woke us up at 7:30, I said “Let’s do this, Drew!”

I was thinking that we would just go to the Krispy Kreme near our house…Andrew had his own plans!

We seriously went to the factory…

Reynolds had fun watching the doughnuts get iced.  I of course wondered why they ALL weren’t getting iced…

I mean, you can just taste them, can’t you?!?!?!  They really do melt in your mouth.

Then we placed our order and Reynolds waited patiently for his “hot now doughnut”…because that’s what he requested.  Doesn’t he look nervous, like he’s not going to get it?!

Say “DOUGHNUTS!!!!!!”

This one gets hangry…and don’t be messin’ with her doughnut either!

Then we took a family selfie with our hats on…

“It’s SOOOO GOOD!”

After our fun at the doughnut factory we went down to the river walk where I got this great little photo.  My heart may burst one day with these two…
