  • The End of An Era

After eight seemingly short years…today was our last day of dropping off and picking up at our amazing daycare. I can hardly believe this day has finally come; for eight years this place has been a second home for all three of my kids. I was talking to a friend yesterday, who stated that these…

    The Bag ‘o Tricks

We made the long {llllooooonnnnggggg} treck down from Columbia, SC to Amelia Island, FL today.  It really wasn’t so bad – it took us about 5 hours to get here.   But literally about 100 yds. from our destination Reynolds AND Eliza Jane lost their minds.  Crying/Screaming blew up our car in one unanimous, awful…

“From the moment you see your child, you realize that it’s not about me anymore.” -Tom Arnold. Ok, so Tom Arnold is not the most likely person that I would quote but Andrew and I were just watching that show “In The Wild” and Tom was on tonight’s episode.  He was telling the story of…

  1. Teary as I read your non-sappy post…
Ann might count me as her cry baby friend! So thankful for friends! While I cannot understand the enormity of you loss, just know that I will be praying you will see some beautiful signs from heaven, like your mama’s tray, to remind you of her ever present love within you…

Remembering constantly that Jesus is on the other side of pain and sadness intermingled with the joy you have when you think of how thankful you are for such an amazing mama.

    Praying ❤️❤️

  2. Such a beautiful tribute to your mom! I loved Mary…such a kind southern lady who stood her ground for what she though was right! I loved her honesty and her openness to me. I miss her too!
